    You can lock a firefighter in a concrete vault with only two steel ball bearings for one hour. When you return, one ball bearing will be lost, and the other one will be broken.

    Wouldn't make any difference. The only change would be the price of the ball bearings, which would double - even though they were exactly the same item.

    The real question is where did he get the ball bearings in the first place. They most likely rolled out from under the engine right after he grenaded the pump gear case.
