Hey guys first time poster. Just wanted to get some feedback before I leave this dream behind. I'm 26 going on 27 in a few months. Just received my score from exam 2000. Somehow, I'm not quite sure of at the moment, I scored a 92 sitting me at 19xxx. Is there any hope for me of getting on through ems or should I try to forget about this and move on. Thanks.

Did you apply to the EMS side?

92 is probably not high enough on Exam 2000, to be honest. 97 is the competitive score.

However, if you applied and get hired by the EMS side, you have a good chance of getting on in the next promotional list in 4 years, or so I hear.

yes but wont i be past the age limit at that point?

Mmmm...I'm not sure how it works for the promotional exam. Hopefully someone on the forum from FDNY can clarify for you.
