Just thought I would start a thread for all who took this exam. Does anyone know when we get our results and when I can expect to be hired.

I signed up for the exam, not really sure the what the wait is, I hope not too long though.

Last list got Results in May. First class off that list Started at Totten yesterday.

I came in off a civil service exam, though I was a PTOP. I'd expect a minimum of a year from the time of filing to the time the first class might go in.

-You get your score in the mail
-When reached on the list you get called for the physical agility test (it's a joke). @ the PAT you also submit to a drug test
-Background Investigation
-Psych eval
-Medical eval

I took this exam as well. Just out of curiosity, how many people filed for any of the additional points (Hazmat Ops, EVOC, etc.)? Hopefully they get list numbers out quickly. Manhattan Medic you might be able to answer this question for me...In my state EVIP/EVAP is what is used as opposed to EVOC. The curriculums are practically identical, but do you think they will accept this for EVOC training? Any insight you have would be much appreciated.

You will do EVOC training in the academy regardless of prior experience. EVOC is by far the best part of the academy, so enjoy it.

Thanks for the response. I was more referring to the 5 extra points you get when filling for having EVOC within the past 5 years. Do you think they would accept EVAP/EVIP

Receipt? As in "We received your paperwork for exam 3024 and you will get a list number someday blah blah blah..."?

It might be a let down that it's not going as fast as you'd like, but that's still a load off, right? I can remember I procrastinated with my filing for the EMS civil service exam, and was worried about whether or not I made the deadline... so the receipt was not a bad thing at all.

I took the exam online and I already have a dcas account so maybe I won't get the receipt by snail mail. I think I got an email from them right after I took the exam.

I Got my list number in the mail today, my number is 9XX. Can't wait to get the process started.

Received my number today as well 6xx. Can't wait.

I'm guessing the first class of this list would be Oct?
