And yes, the insertion of the firefighter getting drugs from the medic does truly bother me. That is certainly an exception.
Like it or not there will be folks that watch this that will take what they see and label it as typical firehouse behavior because this show has made thier perception reality.
The lesbian medic is kinda hot...well both of them are kinda hot!!
I'd hire them!
Only good thing in my opinion.
My wife hates it when I watch these shows and throw out MST3K style comments (Be sure to move her spine around a lot!) over the top of it.
Already posted on the entertainment forum, but more folks here:
Just watched it, what a steaming pile of dung. The only part that felt real was the guy talking about his foreclosure and non-existent sex life. THAT was a funny scene.
The commercial fire scene with the guy hanging over the hole, I was waiting for the "You go, we go" just like Backdraft.
And they had to make one of the female paramedics gay, so they can fit in with every other hollywood show. I know it's fricking TV, but the same medic does a pleural decompression and a pericardiocentesis, plus gets held at gunpoint, in the first episode? What's left for season three?
The BC comes to a fire from a boxing bout? And do you think the rescue co. Lt could shave? He shows up at the hospital with 12 o'clock stubble and a leather jacket looking like Mad Max. Just make it stop...
Did anyone catch that awesome technical rescue? How awful.
Well thank god the chief showed up so the crew knew what to do ... This show blows
Havent seen it, dont plan to -Wednesdays ,I watch duck dynasty
Anyways, I watched the first episode tonight on Hulu. Not bad. A little stereotypical (one guy taking steroids which seems like they were reaching too hard for plot) but it's entertaining. It probably won't win any awards but it's not a bad show or anything. I'm just glad that there's a show about firefighters on TV.
At least the mayor did not show up on the 2nd show
But last one for me, seems like repeat of first show
Week 2 sucked.
More drama and even poorer technical content.
Guess it's back to watching Duck Dynasty with my wife.
My EMT professor and I were joking about this.
"When did you want to be a firefighter?"
"Since the day I was born"
