Looking into getting a new pair of cargos and was wondering what y'all use and recommend. Currently I have the 5.11 station cargos and they wear out way too fast and a little snug in some areas. Anybody know of a good pair that lasts and has a looser more relaxed fit? Not looking for EMS pants or straight legged really either.
Thank y'all.

Best cargo pants?

Have you tried another model of the 511 bdu cargo pants and have you talked to 511 about them wearing out? Hell I still have bdu cargos from them from 12 years ago and other than wash fade from about 100-200 washing they have never torn or punched through. Now they were not the station gear but, I would call 511 direct and complain; they are usually very, very customer friendly and stand behind their product.

If you would like to send me your real name, and contact information (kbradley@firstrespondergrants .com ) I will pass it on directly to the Sales Manager for 511 Tactical whom I know. I am sure he will contact you personally and try to rectify this with you.

Heck man, I go to K-Mart and buy their cargo pocket navy blue work pants when they are on sale for $10. They are comfortable in all the right places and I have had some for 3 years now wearing them at my career FD and for teaching on my off days and other than washer fade they have held up just fine.
Call me a cheapskate if you like but I don't have to have some big brand name on my clothes to make me feel good about myself.Last edited by FyredUp; 10-16-2012 at 12:33 AM.

I think Duluth Traders might have some - possibly even in their "fire hose" weave.

Not sure which gender you are, but if they are too tight, you will have a rough time wearing them. As for myself, I need long rise trousers so I am not cramped!
