FYI Bellevue is using the public safety test which public safety just announced they will be changing on Nov 27th (the day after Bellevue is due). The email stated the new test will be "significantly different" then the one we usually see. No more 100% for people that have mastered the PST.

Do you know if they will be using the new test or the old test? Do you know about how many people they are looking to hire? If they use the old test what is the usuall cut off for conducting interviews.

They are using the old test. The new test doesnt start until Nov. 27th and the Cutoff to test for Bellevue is Nov. 26th.
They plan to hire a class for March 2013. Word is 10-15.
From their website:
"Bellevue Fire intends to hold an Entry Level Firefighter Academy in March, 2013. To be included on the eligible applicant list, interested parties must contact Public Safety Testing (see below) and complete the written exam and the CPAT by November 26, 2012."

I know this might be hard to answer, but what do you think the cut off score will be for the written test?

I took the test yesterday and scored 94.6 - from what I can gather from friends and this forum this is probably below the cutoff.
This was my first time taking the test and I didn't review anything, so maybe I'll do better on my next try.

I took the test yesterday. My first time with the Public Safety test.
I felt like I did great on it. Then I got my score of 85.72% ! How did that happen!? Only thing I can think of is I blew it on the personality questions.
How did everyone else do? Any word on how many they plan to hire?

I'm near the top score. Did anyone else get a call or hear anything more about the hiring numbers?
