    Wonder if he's like the guy I know who, once he knows something about a topic suddenly becomes the resident expert on said topic. Just ask him.

    Of course, I've also seen such folks defined as "anyone who knows more than you do about the subject..."

    I know a guy like that. Whatever you're doing, he's an expert on it and can do it better than you. COMPLETELY obnoxious. He was a volunteer with us for a while, but guess what! It didn't pan out.
