In the 20+ years that I have been around this schit, I have actually met one or two screwballs like him.....They are the kind of guys that are always at the volly house- the ones that make every run at all hours of the day and night- the ones that will quit a job because their boss wont let them leave for fire calls, or get fired because they have come in one too many times late from a fire call.....the ones that unofficially live in the station- you know the one- that always has that one rack in the bunkroom made up, and might go home to his parent's basement once in a while (probably because he needs money....) These guys are the ones who usually blow a fuse after a few years and either stop coming around because they dont get made or elected into an officer spot, or the turn into the volly arsonist......And I was serious about the comment about the psychiatrist except now I say if he ever DID see one they would probably slash their wrist.
