    Very sad.

Hopefully they will be able to fix the Maxim and the LaFrance.

I was just in that firehouse almost a year ago- it was the weekend after Thanksgiving 2011, myself and two friends were buffing FDNY for the day and we wanted to hit all of the Volunteer Houses. The guys at BC were good guys, we wanted to get pix of the rigs but there were no drivers around, so the two guys that were there called around to some guys until they found a driver to come over and pull the rigs out for us. I mean no offense to them- they didnt have a lot before the storm, I can't imagine what they had left afterwards.

Additionally, I know for a fact that a company in Delaware County, Pa. has donated a full-size Hahn engine to them, which I believe was driven up and handed over earlier this week.

My former chief is a prior member of broad channel.. They got an ambulance, the newer Hahn and another truck from somewhere else.. He's taken numerous truckloads of stuff and they've gotten quite a few large cash donations from various depts..

Buff.. I was there back in June.. Insane how they fit 4 vehicles in a 2 car garage more or less. Met a few at our installation dinner last year. Very open and nice people. Very nice community as well.
