University Fire Depts

Has anyone applied to a University Fire Dept before? What are their processes like? Alot of applicants?

I applied to a University Fire Dept near me. They have student resident firefighters and usually hire from that list first even though it may be an open recruitment. It was only 20 minutes away so I took the test anyway to get some practice.

Thats kind of what I figured as far as who they hired. Was there alot of people testing?
