Scores are out- should be in your email
Anyone know if they are doing two academies? They already said one is happening Feb 19th and I heard they want 32, but can they manage that in one academy? Anybody know if they have done that many in the past all at once?
Best of luck to those that move on
From the impression I got, I thought they were putting everyone in one academy since this hiring is based on a SAFER grant the department received. It seemed like they were on a tight schedule to get the academy started or they may lose the grant.
Second question - No idea. The academy last year had 22 recruits.
Has anyone else NOT received their email yet?
I received the email today as well! what band are you guys in?
Will split it up into two groups of 16. Most likely a mon we'd Friday and a tues thurs sat.
I have also heard rumors of the split academy. Who here is moving forward to interviews?
I received my email and tested in band 1, has anyone heard if they have gotten an interview yet? the tight schedule is tough may burn some bridges having to leave my current department on such short notice if selected but there no place quite like the springs!
Nobody yet. Says they are going to be reviewing applications and resumes this weekend and those moving on should hear something by the 20th. This process is moving crazy fast.
Usually you've got time to raise a family in between phases of testing. We barely have time to speculate about this process. :D Not complaining, just amazed after being part of some slow testing processes in the past.
Good luck all
Band 1 also, but I have heard nothing. Unfortunately, they are already sending out emails to those that are moving on. They are looking to take 60 to interviews. Possibly tomorrow, but I would assume they already have their guys.
gotta say that's a bummer that's the best I have done on their fire team test I guess the list is valid for a year so you never know I wonder what set the others over the top? I have my EMT,bachelors, and paid experience but that's not everything that matters.... just wonder what set them over anyone on here that got interviews that can say what set them apart? just curious.
so only 60 out of the 192 do you know some of those selected thats giving you that info?
I got an email notifying me I was moving on earlier this evening. Good luck to everyone.
wow i was stoked to be in band 1. roughcut you may not be able to say but how did they choose the candidates to move on? good luck guys who received the email!!
Medic is number one, experience and minority status
Only taking 60 to interviews? Do we know if that is accurate?
