Well, their gonna find out one way or another if you aren't who they are looking for. I guess making it to interviews though gives you a 50/50 shot though.
I don't get what the point was in releasing all the banding info though, only to say thanks but no thanks to all but 60 24 hrs later. In years past band A meant something and got a bunch of people excited for nothing (myself included) this year.

I'm with you man. This will be year 2 for me getting A band with nothing to show for it. Last year I went through the whole process, got the conditional, and then...nothing. Perseverance I guess.

Good luck all, Second year band 1 with no email. Persistance pays off, and eveything happens for a reason.

Found this link earlier.
It's weird that they would tell everyone they are Band 1/A only to give no invites. I got the e-mail invite and am interviewing tomorrow, yet my buddy got basically the same score and got no invite. Bizarre. Best of luck to everyone.

No, sir/ma'am. Just an EMT-Basic. I believe I was 85.94% on this FireTEAM. I had a buddy at 85% too and no e-mail invite for the old boy. It's a shame. Not sure how they choose, but it must be really selective because there's a lot of good folks not advancing. I guess that's why this profession is known as being so competitive. That's a good thing, just frustrating for friends who don't get the call. Best of luck to everyone!

I got one too. Congrats, guys. Going back down on Weds for the Polygraph, Psych Exam, Psych Interview, and Physical all the same day! Best wishes to all moving on and those who are not.

Hopefully we all make it. Last year they interviewed 52 and put 40 through the final screening. Be interesting to know how many get conditionals this time.

That's pretty cool that they do all of the testing in one day for you guys. Congrats to everyone moving on!
