Is there anyone in North Carolina that would like to attend one of Kurt's Classes. Would love to bring one to the central part of the state. Let me know if there are any interest?

I'm still working out the public schedule since I've got Guard schedule plus the invitation-only schedules to work around. One of the other Seniors I have in the barn will take any I can't make since they've done it before for us.

But if anyone is interested in hosting just shout, same as Kurt. Neither one of us can cover the whole country within a season but like most anyone in the education world says, focused learning is more effective than general. If you can take one with a public safety lean it will help more than one meant for traditional non-profits, but those are also classes you can learn from. Take a couple myself every now and again to stay sharp when the schedule permits.

Headed out to Urbana, ILL tomorrow for Thur-Fri class at ILEAS center there. Plenty of room still available and walk-ins are welcome.

I also just set a new class for Ft Wayne FD in Indiana on Mar 6-7.

Well normally I appear down near Topeka however my previous host agency is no longer with that agency so we did not get out there this year. If I remember right you are in Brown County, say hello to your Undersheriff there Mickey Gruber; he has been a long term client of mine. Maybe you and he should get together and think about having an agency hosted class there this coming year. Schedule is full right now but, never to soon to schedule one. I was in Des Moines in October; too bad you missed me there.

This is great news for the Ft. Wayne class, I'm going to submit my request for funding for the class, but don't see it being a problem getting it approved. Looking forward to hear what is new since the last time I atteneded your class.

Just signed up, and ready to go. Sounds like they are a couple short for the class to go. I would hate to see the class have to be canceled. Been to one of Kurt's class before and learned a ton of information to help me bring down some nice grants. Hoping to pick up some additional knowledge to help on future grants. These aren't get any easier, so I'm just trying to stay sharp on my skills.

Last week we were below 0 and windy three nights in a row. We are forecast for 56 and thunderstorms Wednesday and 19 and lake effect 3 days later. Who knows what it will be like then. I am glad I only have a 1.5 mile commute for the class!!

Yesterday was 58. Today it is 25 with 40mph winds and lake effect snow warnings for the next day and a half. You can never get bored with the weather around here, it never stays the same long enough.
