**The posting is for Firefighter / EMT and Firefighter / Medic**
The closing date is January 6, 2013, and the selection process is for projected hiring on or after July 2013.
Visit the website at www.pwcgov.org/fire and click on “Career Opportunities.” There is an “Apply Now” that will take you to the application.
I am not sure of the class size, but they are typically between 15-30.
All hiring process information is listed on the website.

Just got my written test date scheduled. Anyone currently on the PWC department and willing to answer a couple questions I had before I make the trek down there? Please send me a PM if you'd like.
Thanks!

Took the afternoon test, felt pretty good about it. Hopefully I'll be moving on. How do you think you did? Side question, which test did you take? I was talking to a guy from Ohio briefly when I got there.

Glad to hear you think you did well. I took the afternoon test too, but I don't think it was me you talked to. I honestly have no idea how I did. I didn't think it was difficult but I felt like it was a very subjective test. I was surpised on how many situational questions there were and had many of the answers could have been "right". I though it would have been more straight-forward with math, reading, grammar, etc. The most annoying part was using the chair "desk". haha

Yeah, I agree it was very suggestive. The desks did leave a lot to be desired. I was very impressed with how well they had things together. Very quick in and out. And all their personnel was very courteous and professional.
