Hello all,
I was a volunteer firefighter for 8 years and a volunteer paramedic for 5 years before moving to the Twin Cities. I live in the East Metro and I was wondering if anyone knows of any of the volunteer or paid-on-call departments that run medics? Any city South metro or East metro would probably work. Anywhere from say Bloomington east to the border north to Maplewood or so.
I need a way to keep my medic license active and would prefer it to be on a Fire Department.
Thanks!

Brian, you might try Woodbury, Cottage Grove or Oakdale as they run ALS EMS transport. I don't know the exact details, but Cottage Grove has duty crews folks on their medics and I believe Woodbury and Oakdale are full timers.
A majority of the other FDs seems to be first responder only.
Some police agencies have community services officers who are medics, so that's another option.
