Anyone near Grant Alabama?
A couple years ago we sold an older engine to a fire company from Grant Alabama. Was just wondering if anyone is in the area and can give an update on whether they still using it, has it been working ok, etc.
Just looking for info."This thread is being closed as it is off-topic and not related to the fire industry." - Isn't that what the Off Duty forum was for?

Small world, Bones! My mother grew up near Grant and I get there for a visit from time to time. It holds a special place in my heart. It's an absolutely beautiful place, on a mountain above Lake Guntersville.
I'm assuming the town of Grant itself bought the truck. There is another department a few miles away that is also on the same mountain.
The department does have a Facebook page (listed as Grant Fire-Dept on there). Here's a photo of their fleet that they posted in April 2011.
Do you think you can choose your fire truck out of the lineup, sir? Take your time.
