Hey guys, been lurking on this forum for a little while now. Mainly interested in the hiring process and testing for now. I'm from Omaha NE, but have been stationed in Anchorage AK, for the past three years with the Air Force. Currently I'm on my second deployment, but plan on getting out this fall and moving back to Omaha. My dream is to be on the fire dept. Because Omaha doesn't hire too frequently I plan on using my GI Bill to go to school for a bit while I wait. That would also be a good time do get on a vol. dept. and get some experience. Enjoy reading this forum, it's really helpful.

Sayin' hey! I was in the Air Force myself. 2004-Sep 2012. I was Security Forces, did a hitch in Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, and SC, with a few stops in between. Good luck and stay safe!
