Last call 12/25 automatic fire alarm
First call 1/1 building fire with entrapment went up to 3 alarms.
Last was a car into a telephone pole without injuries with primary wires across the road and the first was a car into a guard rail with injuries
Last - 12/31 - Automatic Fire Alarm - contractor shorted the system, triggering the alarm.
First - 1/01 - MVA with injuries - struck 3 vehicles and a pole because the driver was too lazy to defrost the windshield.
last was an Ice fishing shack explosion with 5 victims.
first hasn't happened yet this year.
First was a reported MVA - car off the road, no injuries. Ended up being a winch-out. Winds at the scene were right straight across the road at 25, gusting to 40, with comensurate drifting.
Patrol that was headed for us went right by, on the way to an other incident involving a camper trailer rollover on the interstate. I suspect it got blown over by the wind.
Finally got our first call of the year yesterday. Paged out Mutual Aid for a church fire. Ended up just being a burned up motor in a heater that filled the church with smoke. Nice easy way to start the year.
Last was alarm at residence. False.
First was chimney fire at local theater.
