From the recruiting division FaceBook page:
Q and A time! 1. Out of CSE 03/13/13 we are looking to fill 3 academy classes of 65 - 70 cadets per class. Proposed start dates are July 2013, August 2013 and March 2014. 2. This is a new Civil Service Exam and there is a Preparation Guide that is FREE. That link is being sent to you via Neogov soon after you complete your online application. There is also a Practice Test and that test is being offered for $10. It's your choice if you want to purchase the Practice Test. We recommend you print and READ the Preparation Guide. Remember you want you to make a 100 on the CSE
What else?

Hey!! Quick question: any exceptions to the age rule? I know a paramedic who's currently a full-time firefighter who might like to apply but he'll be 37 in April. Just curious! Best of wishes to the new hires and everybody stay safe!!

As someone who would qualify for a certified trainee, what are my options? Should I apply for this position or wait, if so, when will a certified position open?
