I posted this is the Wildland forum, but thought this might be a better place.

Hi!

I have just applied for CAL Fire this year. I have applied to 5 units in the Northern region. I'm wondering if anyone else has applied to the Northern region this year? I'm looking to network with any one else who has applied in the Northern region. Pm me or just leave a comment.

Also, does anyone know what the next step is after the application process is done? If anyone has any advice to give, that would be much appreciated.

Usually they will do interviews the months of February. Tests are like 5 questions each, , most are scenario based. Board is two people. You then will not hear anything for a couple months so do not panic. You may also hear the same questions in every interview for different units. good luck
