I have a few buddies whom are still in the testing process and I am curious what a "good" score is on this new test of theirs. I know the old one usually required a score of 97% and up to get an oral and have heard this new one is much different and a lot harder. My department just switched to PST so I am curious about what a good score will be. If guys want to post their scores that would be helpful to everyone I'm sure. Please do not discuss any specific questions or information regarding the test, just scores.
Thanks everyone and good luck, stick with it and it will all be worth while when you finally get that call.

I know three people who have taken it. scores were: 66%, low 70's, and 83.14%. The guys who had the second and third scores had scores in the upper 90's on the old test.

I bet the lists for Renton, Snoqualmie, and Valley Regional fire authority will be much smaller than normal.

84.95% and I applied everywhere in Seattle Metro
*Update* i received an email from public safety testing that they had made an error in scoring. I actually got a 88.16%. Additionally the email noted that the average was 75%.
Please post more scores!Last edited by MJG25; 01-25-2013 at 09:52 PM.

Anyone have any updates? One of my buddies got an 89% that's the best I've heard so far.

I would say no. We (VRFA) are only taking top 24 and I can't see a barely above average score getting an oral. Stick with it good luck.

My 81% will probably not make the final cut. Will keep my fingers crossed though
