    Default Apparatus DJ's

    I was told that some local departments had received DJ's for their vehicle application 2-4 weeks ago? Anyone else hear about this?

    Any thing can happen, but most likely the computer DJ's have not been sent out. With less than 500 awards to date it is too soon for them to drop. I haven't seen any DJ's on the ones I have worked on and I do not believe any other of the regulars have either. It will probably be at least another month before they will drop.

    Hi Everyone: I received an e-mail from a U.S. Senators Community Affairs Specialist on 01/10/2013 dealing with DJ's. She had just contacted FEMA about AFG Grants and DJ letters. She was told that no DJ's had been sent out as of the 10th of January. Hope this helps a bit, I know those of us that are still waiting to hear something oneway or the other would like to just get it over with.

    Thought I would bump this....Just curious if anyone has heard anything. Getting a little nervous since we haven't heard anything and our aerial is now almost 3 months OOS due to failed hydraulics!

    They haven't even started on Vehicles yet. Only one update and one award posted.

    Actually award #2 for a truck was the other week, but that's still counting as a lack of progress on trucks in most people's books. My deduction was that there were a lot of paper apps and other vehicle apps that were in that last batch done the 1st week of December. Trucks are the most varied and least funded apps in terms of scores so they couldn't move on much until those were included into the overall scoring system. I would imagine we'll start to see things pick up more this week like they did last week.
