New volunteer in suburban New York (Westchester County) headed off to FF1 next week. No previous experience in fire fighting so I was hoping someone could point me to a specific web-based resource to do some orientation and come to grips with terminology and a basic understanding of gear and apparatus at least before I start the course. The assumption that I know nothing would be a safe one.
