Application- Drivers license

I've noticed on some applications under requirements, that it lists having that states drivers license. Does this mean if you are not from that state you can't apply, or you must get that states drivers license before being hired? Any info would be great!

I suggest reading the requirements section of the job announcement.
They are usually very clear about the requirement.

once you get the job you will need to have that states driver's license.

Would check with what ever agency gives them, to make sure either yours will transfer without any problem, or find out what you will need to get one.

especially if they have a special license requirement for one to drive a fire truck.

But no should be able to apply away at most departments.
