People thought it was an advertisement, so I removed the link. Personally, I thought an aerial picture of a fire coming out of 6 manholes was pretty cool. Sorry though, not sure how to delete the thread either. (If there's a way?)

Besides, tricked is such an ugly word. How about a kinder, gentler word such as duped, hoodwinked or suckered.

I couldn't tell if that was the glow from a manhole fire or just the streetlights. I don't recall noting in the story that there was fire out of more than one manhole, and the big glow was a long way from the camera.

Edit: I see that the original link did come from a story that only mentioned one manhole, but these are other places I've seen around the web now.

Funny how things can be distorted, or overdone. There was a manhole fire, but that was it, just one. I happened to get called out to the scene due to a BC having an issue with his vehicle. The pic is ominous, yet very realistic. Oh wait, it is real. Just not to be taken at face value, or perceived as it was described.
