I say "slightly" because I know a huge chunk of firefighters with military backgrounds and others that shoot as a hobby. The video I am linking to is of a legal immigrant addressing the gun issue at a meeting in Hartford, CT, yesterday.
This man was not born in the US and English isn't his first language. However, he has a clearer understanding of US history and rights than a lot of low information voters. I love this country. People like this make me even prouder.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I am sure we have forum members who won't like what he has to say. My guess is that they are in the minority.

Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."
