Hey Everyone:
In a few weeks, I will be completing my paramedic training. From there, I'm interested joining a volunteer dept. to gain more experience. I will be relocating for this as all the departments around here are only career. I was wondering if anyone had any insight/tips to consider as far as what to look for when selecting a dept and what to expect with other volunteers and operations (other than that unpaid part). My ultimate goal is to obtain a career spot, but continue to volunteer.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
