Why not just give all these poor babies a ten year credit and in ten years they can retire.

Probably another case of wanting the job, but not wanting to do the work that it takes to get the job.

“The special masters have determined that to date, 745 of the 3,636 claimants that sought priority hiring relief are eligible for priority hiring and monetary relief,” the team wrote to Brooklyn federal Judge Nicholas Garaufis in a filing made public yesterday."
The truly pathetic aspect of this entitlement (by court order) is that most of the claimants eligible for "priority hiring and monetary relief" just want the cash so they can move onto their next "it's everyone's fault except my own" crusade.
Every "ambulance-chasing" attorney in New York City is probably licking their chops.Last edited by dfwfirefighter; 02-05-2013 at 12:39 PM.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, what about the white or "non-minority" candidates that scored the same or higher than them that also didn't get the job? They should also be given priority hiring, since the test was just as biased against them. (that is assuming the test was even biased to begin with).

Because they know how to accept the fact that they weren't chosen for the right reasons. Those 745 are just sour grapes. Probably don't even want the job. Makes other minorities look bad.
