Plainfield Fire Territory (Indiana) Hiring 2012

Plainfield was accepting applications from 28 Dec 2012 - 25 Jan 2013 for Paramedic/FF. Anyone know the status of where they are at in the process? Is there an academy? How many are they planning on hiring? And the hire date?
Interested in the area and curious what the different departments have to offer. Any good info would awesome.

Summer of 2012 they hired and did Paramedics and EMT's. Im an EMT took the written and interviewed. The interview was very odd, it was timed and you followed the questions in a binder. I got an email a few weeks later saying I was out then about a month after that they were hiring again. Very odd situation

Thanks for the info. Did you get the binder ahead of time or did they give it to you at the interview? How long did it take from the time you applied to take the written and interview?

It was a few months in between we took the written in may and the interview was late November. The binder was given to youm when you walked in the room

I did the written test in 2012 for FF/EMT, and then never heard anything back from them for like 8 months, then they said congratulations you have made it to the Interview. Of course 8 months later I was in Medic school and it just so happened to be on my interview day so i was not able to go.
