USFS Surplus?

Hello Forum:

Is the GSA auctions website the only location USFS surplus fire trucks would be listed? Any leads on USFS or BLM trucks would be appreciated.

USFS fire apparatus is not sold, when retired it goes to the individual state forestry agencies where it can be provided for loan to local fire agencies.

The DOI agencies (BLM, USFWS,NPS, BIA) do their own thing and sell their equipment through multiple channels including local sales.


For USFS and some military surplus you might find the USFS Federal Excess Personal Property site helpful. It includes listing of the various USFS regional FEPP and state forestry contacts.
