Not sure if this is the right section to post the question, but it does relate to the hiring process.....
I understand that while visiting a firehouse or when it's your first day you should have your hands full of baked goods. My question is, how would it come across to department personnel if one were to show up to the written test with baked goods? This isn't a civil service test that has human resource or outside people proctor the exam, the test is administered directly by the Chief officers.
Just striking up general thoughts.
