    Default Dive Hood

    Hi Guys,

I am looking for some information on hoods that can be used with a dry suit if any are available and your experiences with them etc.

    Cheers Dave

I'm guessing this is with a swiftwater drysuit? NRS makes a nice cap that fits well under your helmet. It does a good job keeping you warm. I don't mind a little cold and actually like the cap that keeps your ears uncovered. If using a full cut helmet I find the full cut cap reduces my hearing too much. If you really don't want to get your head wet, I'd get the suit modified and add a latex hood like a diving drysuit has.

If you are talking a diving suit, I'd rather wear a latex hood and wear thermal protection. I don't like the bulkier hoods

    Good Luck
