    Default Last Meal..what to cook?

    Hey everyone!

Im currently at a Fire Station doing my paramedic internship, and they have been talking about my last meal and what I'm going to cook. I'm now near the end of my internship and the dreaded last supper is coming soon! I have some ideas, but I know this station expects a 5-star meal, so does anyone have any opinions, advice, recipes, anything that could help me stand out for my last meal?!?

    Thanks in advance!

Paramedic internship? Thats non-paid, right? What next? If after your internship you'll be moving on, and your time in this house is just educational I'd not cook too special of a meal. The meal just has to be a thank you. If you are going to be stationed there, and are fostering a working relationship with the crew, go all out. It's a way of starting off on the right foot. Surf & turf, prime rib, rack of lamb.

However, if your relationship has been one marked with side splitting moments of ball busting, they get hotdogs and beans. You gotta get the last laugh.

Mac and Cheese. If they complain, add bacon. Nobody complains about bacon.

You can start by asking the crew. If they won't give it up it has to be steaks with all the trimmins with a home made desert.

Thanks everyone for all the help! So I talked with my paramedic preceptors and they said they just wanted something "nice and classy". At the end of my internship, I was given the opportunity to become a volunteer firefighter for the department, so on that note I went with a memorable dinner. I cooked bacon wrapped filet mignon with jumbo shrimp, and then cooked a couple of my own personal home made deserts! Lets just say they had their nice and classy meal and I ended/began things on a good note!
