Just wondering what you policies are concerning a member who has been disciplined for on duty or off duty offenses. Is the employee entitled to privacy? Does the department know what the punishment is? Some times the infraction can be an off duty offense that is public knowledge, is the punishment kept secret?![]()

Re state question
Who are you trying to keep it secret from?
Off duty problems especially criminal are a little hard to keep that from people
We do have an internal affairs policy stating who can see what
Any union involved?
