    Default Purple reflective helmet stickers

I need a favor. Does anyone know where I can get some purple helmet trapezoids or stripes? I have a female firefighter thats done a great job and her favorite color is purple and I would like give her alittle gift for her helmet.

I checked the two companies that we use most and neither had purple.

You might be able to get them from a local sign shop that cuts vinyl lettering like you probably have on your apparatus. Just take them a trapezoid in another color for a pattern, and then they can cut it in reflective purple.

Seeing as how it's a female person, make sure your helmet color goes with purple!

Post a picture if you pull it off.

Thank you. I was hoping I could find some premade but I think your right I'll have to go to a sign shop. I see if I can get some pictures. One of my other female firefighters has pink strips on her black helmet.

The original poster did not state what color helmet the stickers are going to be placed on. Purple might not be very visible on a black helmet but would be on a white, yellow, red, or blue.

Is this in reference to Eplipsey, Domestic Violence, Lupus, Macular Degeneration, Rhett Syndrome, Sarcoidosis, Alzheimer’s, Animal abuse or mourning? All of these are associated with the color purple.

My point being the meaning of the color only matters in the context that it is displayed in. At a funeral it means mourning but outside of that it can mean any number of causes or something as simple as someone’s favorite color.

Nope, don't see it. Do tell.

I have a bigger issue with skulls on helmets, t-shirts, tattoos, when I comes to having to do with firefighting. Skulls represent death and we represent saving lives.

I used black reflective striping on my personal vehicle. It more or less reflects white, and otherwise just looks like regular trim.

Obviously it wouldn't be the correct answer on a black helmet. Maybe on yellow or white. The thing now is a combo of flourescent and reflective - that's what's on my newest helmet.

I see no issue with purple trapezoids, as long as they're reflective.

I think I just officially realized I am both a.) OLD and b.) tragically unhip.

I have no idea about a purple x rated reference. However, I do enjoy Deep Purple but hated The Color Purple. Purple Rain wasn't bad, but didn't care for the One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater.

Well it would appear the purple porn reference is not very well known.

The "purple helmet" is slang for a certain part of the male anatomy.

If that's what the worry over purple tets is then I believe it is a heck of a stretch to say purple tets equate to your helmet being a penis.

I just didn't want to see someone get set up on a practical joke...at least not something that might cause a rift in a dept. I guess it might be more of a military thing, but I first heard that reference long ago.
