    Default Fire Department Shirts

My company is selling t-shirts to help with the cost of some equipment. I know there has to be some collectors out there that would be interested in buying them. They are through TeeSpring, they cost just under $19.00 shipped to your door. This is our first design so it's a pretty simple station shirt. We will have more elaborate designs coming out over time. Thanks in advance to anyone who purchases one.

If you have any other ideas/tips for the next design please feel free to post it.

If I were you, I'd remove the reference to whackers in your post. No need to insult potential buyers.

As a former retail employee, that approach generally doesn't work too well.

There nothing wrong with being a whacker if you KNOW you are being a whacker. The problem comes in when people cross the line between being a firefighter and a whacker and are a whacker while firefighting.

It's the people who don't realize they are a whacker....
Opinions my own. Standard disclaimers apply.

As used here, whacker is generally an insult- a way for some to sneer at usually young, over enthusiastic vollys. That's the usage I based my advice on.

I like the minimalist design Ryan. When my dept. designs something we tend to go pretty garish. I like the idea of selling shirts, good way for the citizens to show support. We don't have the community support we should, though it is completely our fault in our case.

As someone who is probably a whacker, I don't mind the term.

Only 5 shirts left before our goal is met. The campaign is open until July 28th at midnight so get your orders in.
