POSITION TITLE: FIREFIGHTER
CLOSING DATE: SEPTEMBER 13th 2013 @ 12pm
STARTING SALARY: $30,373.68 Annually
HOURS OF WORK: Varies
POSITION SUMMARY: Job responsibilities include work related to fire suppression, fire prevention education, rescue, Hazmat and basic emergency medical services and the operation and routine custodial maintenance of department equipment, apparatus and quarters.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Job requirements include, but are not limited to, high school diploma or GED. NPQ FF I and NREMT certifications are not required but are highly preferred. Must have valid Georgia State Drivers License and provide a current (less than 60 days) satisfactory 5 year motor vehicle report (MVR) when submitting application packet.
Provide copies of the following when submitting application packet: a valid Georgia driversí license, birth certificate, high school or GED and current (less than 60 days) satisfactory 3 year motor vehicle report (MVR).
