Apparatus Interior Construction
My department is in the early stages of putting a spec together for a rescue pumper. One of the things that we would like to improve on is the quality and durability of the interior components. I was thinking that minimizing plastic and upholstery might help.
Does anybody have any experience with an interior coated in Rhino Lining, or a similar product? If I remember correctly the FDNY Ladder 156 was completely coated on the inside with it.
What are your thoughts and experiences?
