River (KY) VFD Chief Rocky Caudill's home was damaged by fire this morning. My department responded with two others to assist River on the call. They were able to make an interior attack and limit the extent of the fire, but of course there is extensive smoke damage.
Rocky's wife Charolette and their two sons are also volunteers with the department. He is a hard-working, honest guy who quite literally brought that department back from the brink of dissolution several years ago and has done a great job with recruiting, training, equipping, and responding.
Please remember these brothers and sister in your thoughts and prayers as they work to recover from this difficult setback.

I will add them my prayer list.Stay Safe
“Guys if you get hurt, we’ll help you. If you get sick we’ll treat you. If you want to bitch and moan, then all I can tell you is to flick the sand out of your slit, suck it up or get the hell out!”
