    Thank you.
10kW Onan hydraulic. Other than a blown hydraulic line early on we have had no problems whatsoever with this unit. We have 5 - 1500 watt lights and an electric PPV fan that we run off this rig.

Last engine has 15kW Onan hydraulic. No issues and new truck being built has same.

We also have a 25kW Onan PTO, the issue has been that it hangs under the truck and gets all of the road grime into it. We have had bearings fail twice over last 13 years due to this.

I would not hang a generator under the truck again. The hydraulic units are housed on top of truck body with a PTO-driven hydraulic pump. Better arrangement for us.

Also we like Onan due to local service center.

we have a 15 kw harrison pto hydraulic mounted on top of our 2003 rescue truck. It has been trouble free. We have a 4 head light tower, 4 body mounted halide floods and 4 tripod mount removable lights along with a 200 ft cord reel that runs off it.

Some departments around here have had very good luck with "Smart Power" generators. They seem to be very dependable and they can be walked or stood on if they are mounted on top.
