    Default Fire Academy Recognition

Hi all, i'm new to the site and have a few questions about fire academies, this seems to be the best place i could find to ask the question. I live in California and from what i hear the California firefighter 1 academy isn't accepted in many other states, this may or may not be true. I would like to know the answer to that myth and if it is true, where can i take a fire academy that is high recognized throughout the country? I have nothing holding me down to stay in California and i'd like to keep my options open.

Each state is its on animal

    Tx should take it

Have to check with each state and sometimes each city, because some cities run their own academy

Also when you decide to jump

Most apps say they require that states ff 1, they also require that states drivers license, any way around that during the app process?

That would be city by city

Two options get calif cert than if you are set on tx get Texas cert and apply

Or if you get paramedic some cities will send you through ff academy

Or there is an online plus two week on site academy by Fort Worth
