    Yup.

Are there cases on being a dumb***? Given the skills that you continually exhibit on this subject I find it likely that you are probably certified at the I, II and II levels.

How much of your pay are you giving back. Since you believe government (at all levels) pays too much for labor.
Given that we are still one of the lower paid fire agencies in the area ... though not by as much as in the past ... None.

Funny thing is that in this area fire and government operated EMS are probably the lowest paid government employees, even in the better paid departments, and tend to work the longest hours. If tommarrow they told mne we had to take a 5% cut, it honestly would not be a tremendous issue with me.

Glad you guys met and were able to put a face to the name, and have a rational conversation. That's the way it should be, regardless of online squabbles.

Clean living...NOT!! I can confirm that a complete lack of sleep for almost 25 years must be the reason. That or as my Mom told me as a kid that I gave people gray hair and would most likely have little of my own!!

Less than 2 weeks away from birthday number 55! By the way, retirement is hell! Not having to get up at 5 am, not having to drive an hour and a half to the station, not having to deal with politicians and an admin that seemed to be as adversarial as they could. Yeah, it's hell alright!! I miss the guys and the banter for sure.

It was a good conversation and just like Bob said I wish it could have lasted longer. I came away with a different perspective, I can't guarantee that we won't go at it again on here, but maybe my trigger won't be such a hair trigger anymore.

Yeah, we can coexist peacefully, we both know we will disagree again, but I will remain civil, or at least try to from now on.

Seriously, you are pathetic you look like the kindergartner that has to keep attention focused on them by continually raising their hand and saying something, no matter how out of context or meaningless. Or perhaps the old guy curmudgeon that rants and raves in a failed attempt to remain relevant.

Sad you have sunk so low as to make yourself this irrelevant.

The more I read this topic, the more ****ed off I am I couldn't make it.

I'll definatly bid that class on the first go-around next year.

Well organized school. Motivated students. Great facility. Nice country. Cool weather. And a nice bar.

Pretty much everything an instructor asks for.

    Sure can.

Maybe this time you can drag your son along and maybe I can even meet Jasper if the pricing and flight schedule allows me to fly into Milwaukee.

I'll go. We'll get smashed, do some blow then drive around killing hookers with fly swatters. Ditch the cops in Mexico, ride the Baja 1000 (again for me), go marlin fishing, then dig a tunnel back into the U.S. That is where we will part ways.
