    Default getting my ships & boats together

    Here are my concerns;
    1 - I was let go from 2 jobs in a row out of college. Both were a little less than 10 years ago. I've been at my current job over 6 years.

    2 - I've got 2 traffic tickets in the past several years, one speeding and one violation. I think most departments around here allow 3.

    3 - Exercise - I've got limited time in the evening (3 kids remember?) and currently none in the morning (again, kids). I'm making time where I can. i.e., 8lb sledgehammer workouts while I grill dinner, pushups while waiting on the kids to do something, going up & down the stairs at home, etc. I'm trying to figure out how to best utilize my lunch hour. I'm in the worst part of town. The closest gym is a YMCA about 10-15 minutes away. 25 min round trip, ~10 min changing each way leaves about 25 minutes to work out. It's something, but doesn't seem efficient. Any ideas of what to do around work while still in slacks & a button up?

    I'm going to make this happen. I appreciate what I've learned over the past few days reading here. Any leg up, I will take.

    I think the only thing that will be a big hit is the felony

    We ask if you have ever been arrested

    Have you gone back to the arresting agency and done an open records request to see if anything shows up?? Such as the arrest report

    Do you mind saying what the felony was???

    I can do a DOC or court docket search and nothing shows up. But, I asked an officer one day and he was able to pull it up in his car.

    Dr Phil's sister had acid dumped on her from an overpass. They campaigned and it became a state felony. Pretty sure I was on the wrong side of the good ole boy system on this one.
    Everything I've seen says "convicted of a felony", which I was not. I'll call some departments though. Who do I talk to there about such stuff?

    Talk to as high up as can get

    Should have said be able to explain in a short synopsis of what happened

    So were you found guilty of a felony or lesser charge
    Just because it was expunged does not mean you were not guilty same with differed adjudication

    Neither. It was a deferred sentence, meaning as long as I didn't get into trouble for 1 year it would go away. If I did get into trouble, it would count as an automatic guilty plea on the original charge.
    Talked to a metro cop buddy of mine. He said "don't you have your firearm carry permit?" I do. He figures if the OSBI cleared me, then I should be good.
    I'll call the dept tomorrow to ask. Do I ask whoever answers, or is there a particular position I need to ask for?

    Did some digging this morning, here is what Oklahoma law says;

    A Section 991(c) expungement allows a person who received a deferred sentence to expunge their plea, and have the disposition of their case updated to show the case has been dismissed. The disposition will say, "pled not guilty, case dismissed". However, a 991(c) expungement will not expunge (remove) the arrest record.
