    Default Nfpa

I believe I saw on one of the forums that we would be able to get short term NFPA member access to NFPA standards to work on AFG as we have the last couple of years. I was unable to find the access information when I went back to look. Can anyone pass that information along for me. Thanks!

Just sign up it is free

A little hard to maneuver through a standard and you cannot cut and paste

Look up the standard you want, go to view, and sign up

This is what we do. use a projector and put the NFPA standard you want on the wall. Smart phone takes a pic then email to my self. A little time consuming but you only have to do it once.

Last year there was a way you could get a short term sort of temporary membership and get to the codes and you could print the pages you needed. (It expired when AFG closed.) Very helpful for AFG as I printed some codes or pages and highlighted the parts to which I wanted to refer. Is there a way to do that this year. Thought I saw somewhere on the forums you could. Anyone else remember that?

All I have been able to find this year is this and you cannot mark or copy text, only view it.

When viewing the NFPA code, put whatever part you want to save on the screen so it is viewable, do a CTRL+ALT+Print Screen; then paste into a MS Word document. From there you can't really alter anything but you can save & reference it in the future at least. I have even gone so far as to highlight phrases that I feel are important to my cause. Does about the same as taking a picture but probably a lot clearer & less time consuming.
