It's a firefighter shirt, not a cell phone. I could care less. It's the same as those that post links in their sig line. The guy has more than one post, just sayin'. Flame away!!

Not for me, but what ever. I guess I'm of the mind that we shouldn't be trying to convince other people we're somehow better than they are. The quote on the back is a nice quote at a funeral where we're pointing out someone's sacrifice of themselves for another, but to wear it while upright? To me this si right up there with "I fight what you fear", while half of us couldn't go to a fire unless somebody built the fire truck we ride in, or sewed our gear, or banged away on some computer to make sure we got a check at the end of the week.

And the Firefighter Strong? What's that from? Suddenly everyone is jumping on ____Strong for their team, city, state, job? Really, kinda minimizes the original use of the logo doesn't it? Maybe I just don't get it any more?

Sorry snowball. I will admit that I had to got to Wikipedia to look up flaming. Doesn't sound very nice.
I did look up some of his posts, something about firefighter social. com and a face book page, I guess I should look them up.

No worries. I expected some water hammer, I'm not rushing to buy any shirt unless it says KTM or Bell, or...you get the point. The only department shirts I have bought are my own or from my local, or some that my bro has given me from his. But this guy who is for all intent and purposes, a member of this forum, he gets a pass as far as I'm concerned. Look at it this way, most of the ads here are for products that you and I would not purchase. Dräger, Hurst, MSA, and others are global and can afford to shell out bucks for ads. I haven't even opened his link, and with this forum maybe getting a handful of posts daily now, I don't see the harm.

Maybe I'm wrong on this and RFDbro makes strong medicine as well.

I will admit I am not immune to fire t shirts. When I got the opportunity to buy some shirts put together by the state fire and aviation land office I sometimes work for I bought a half dozen. And of course I have a couple from the VFD as well.
Most of the current crop of fire t shirts kind of make me wince when I study them, oh well, to each his own.
You do make some good points however.

Picture someone who with reason, was banned from the local volunteer department he was with, and can not let it go. Now he has a "social" network up with a few people on it, mainly lonely fat girls (I know, they need loving too) and other desperate people.

And he sells flaky T shirts.

I almost feel sorry for him.

He's probably wearing a shirt that says

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Hey, those gals are shady in the summer and warm in the winter.

Additionally, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee (who has had more puss than a litter box) says fat girls are the best.

    I'm just sayin.
