Default AFG "Other Information" Narrative Section???

This section of the narrative appears to be gone, without allowing the 3,000 characters elsewhere. In the past I have used this area to detail the critical infastructure, assurances, etc. etc. I tend to be on the long winded side and this is a big hurdle, any great ideas? Maybe its a mistake??

Not a mistake, this year's FOA states:

Heard from several reviewers in the past that this was just a "run on" section, so most likely they looked to make the narratives more concise.

Explain your critical infrastructure in Applicant Characteristics (I).

Yea got caught by that one myself 28 apps to rewrite now. That information should have been mentioned in the "changes for 2013". In the webinar slides it does not show the "additional information" section under Narrative Development slide but it says they were going to open up the other narrative sections to 4K instead of 3K; apparently that memo did not make it to the IT folks because they are still set at only 3K.Well there goes the hunting trip over Thanksgiving weekend.

    You and me both Kurt!
I just dont see how you can do a good job describing a community and department, then properly list the critical infastructure protected in 4,000 characters. The critical infastructure details have to go. Grrrrrr

Luckily that Chase grant gave me practice, 5 answers, 500 characters max each. Had to go back to the Golden Rule of Concise not Blunt... I used Additional Info in a few spots when we had good stuff, but guess it's time to go to some bullet points instead of full sentences if you have a lot to squeeze into small spaces.

Yea not as bad as I envisioned/ Took me about 5 hours to correct all of them to exclude that section but, really did not lose that much actually.
