    Default Crossroads Please

Hey all, been a very long time since I've posted here but we're still brothers right?
So, I've been toying with the idea of going to get my paramedic cert but recently received a job offer in my home town for a very nice salary.

Of course, if I accept the nice paying job at home, I'll never have the opportunity to become a paramedic but I'll be fighting fire with my boys and eventually get hired at Little Rock FD.

If I stay here and finish my medic, struggle financially (Heavily), I'll move back home and fight fire with my boys and eventually get hired at Little Rock FD.

Now, to me it seems like a no-brainer, but here's where the fun comes in.
I left my hometown once before with a promise from a Fire Dept near my current city (James City County FD) and returned as if nothing happened.

I don't want to go back home and have them think I was too good for them; it's quite the opposite. My boys back home are my lifeline into the brotherhood, something I can't fill living here, going back to them would be the greatest opportunity in my life. I'd never leve them again, unlike last time I won't have finance issues, but I don't know if they'd welcome me back.

I'm scared to ask, more than I've felt in my life, due to rejection. I've had some run ins with a full-time captain's wife (she accused me of being rude to her, big whoop, but I'm not sure how this past event would affect me).

Can someone, anyone, please post their input or past experiences PLEASE?!

So is the job offer with little rock????

If so there are 400 firefighters, do not worry about going back

First of all, there is no guarantee that you will "eventually get hired at Little Rock FD." Secondly, who gives a crap what anybody else thinks about you moving back home? If that is what feels right to you then do it. It really is that simple.
Crazy, but that's how it goes
Millions of people living as foes
    Maybe it's not too late

    Ok story a little clearer

    Almost same answer

If you are willing to move, want to move, pay is better ,,, do it

You can still get your paramedic just pay for it yourself
