    I have a radio and would prefer a pager. The radio is nice but my department has a radio for every seat on the truck so if I did need to use a radio I could get one. If your wanting it to respond to calls the pager is better because you don't have to worry about waking up for someone elses call. One other bonus is that the pager is small and you can almost take it anywhere instead of taking a radio.
