    Default Cardiac Monitor Useful Life Expectancy

    Anybody have any thoughts on the useful life expectancy of a cardiac monitor?

    It seems that anything with computer based technology like gas meters, TIC, AED's etc. seem to have a 10 year service life. At that point new and improved technology has come about making the equipment obsolete and manufacturers will no longer support those items. A cardiac monitor would be about the same 10 years.
