    It will be awhile before DJ's start coming out. Awards will be starting late March early April. Probably will not see the DJ's until June/July timeframe.

    Has anyone heard how the MICRO Grants faired? We applied for just under $25,000 to replace much of our supply lines and firefighting hose.
    Thanks

    I have been told both by the reviewers and AFG staff that Micro grants were reviewed quite favorably and there is rumor that they might be first out of the box for the award rounds.

    micro grants equals more departments getting funded with the same amount of $$$$$$
    Makes sense that they might score higher as they are more for need than greed.

    Islandfire03 I have always known that you paid attention and "got it" .....just look at the record you established before handing over the reins. LOL

    Mark as far as the Iceman legacy of blizzards following me... I make no promises when it comes to Mother Nature's fury.

    Rumor has it , that any time Kurt leaves Florida between October and May.

    the snow will fly with him.

    So far his record in New England shows that true. :-}

    Just heard back from program office and 2013 AFG awards are still on track to start in April. We should start seeing 1199a updates any time now.

    OK I did not see any 1199a updates over the weekend; lets get this show on the road program office. Encouraging signs were seen though as it seemed that every application I checked had a Warning Update Profile waiting to be responded to. Word to he wise here folks, log into your SAM.gov account and be CERTAIN that you have not been asked to update your information. It will hold up an award to you if they are asking and you have not responded.

    Also, your sam.gov password will expire after 180 days (non-government user) or 90 days (government user).

    If you do not have an 1199a update by this time, it ain't happening. SAFER money almost gone. Less than $15 million remaining if memory serves me right so DJs should be any day now.
